Business growth platform
I was part of a cross-functional R&D team designing tools that empower employees and enable growth for businesses. One of these tools was an AI powered workplace search allowing employees to find answers to common questions on demand.

THE CHALLENGE
Empowering employees and enabling businesses to grow
We focussed on delivering onboarding information through a chat like feature. Employees would be able to ask a question about HR related topics and get the answer in real time.

RESEARCH
Business onboarding methods often involve lengthy training sessions and employees having to navigate large amounts of information
After conducting secondary research and reflecting on our own challenges, it became evident that a workplace search tool could transform the way businesses onboard employees.

PLANNING
As a small and agile team, we were able to collaborate and iterate quickly
I worked with the developer who explored a partnership with Nuclia AI. This partnership allowed us to connect a wide range of information sources and drive the functionality of the workplace search tool.
I created wireframes to communicate how the UI could be designed
OUTCOME
The foundations of a new product to be developed further
Through collaboration, we learnt about new technologies, how they can be applied and created a new business opportunity.
Employers can organise their information using filters allowing employees to get precise answers
Employees are presented with a concise response containing essential information
Sources are shown to demonstrate the credibility and reliability of the information
